The most anticipated event in recent times LAGOS STYLE WEEK kicked off yesterday. And trust me, it was a huge failure!!!  This is the messiest I've seen in recent times. Was it that they didn't have proper planning or what?? cos I really can't seem to wrap this around anything. 1 or 2 itches is inevitable in an event, but when we start counting and lose counts, then something is definitely wrong somewhere. The event was scheduled  to start at 2pm, and to my utmost dismay, didn't start until 8.10pm and The seats were still empty as at 7.20pm. I was almost forced to advice the organisers to drive a Coaster bus to The Palms and bring in crowd to fill the empty seats, anyways, I kept my cool. But what i can't fathom is, didn't they give the designers invites to give

FACE OF SLEEK 2011 TO BE CROWNED THIS WEEKEND!!!

 After weeks of polishing up and screening thousands of Nigeria’s most beautiful, the Sleek team has picked out their 15 finalists.This year's theme for the event is "The Symphony of Style" lll.

Ify Ugochukwu, MD, Sleek Hair said it was now up to the girls to compete and prove themselves.

“These Sleek girls must pout and pose to impress the judges and become the ‘Face Of Sleek Nigeria 2011’,” she said. “There can be only one winner, who must be beautiful, full of charisma and energy. NDLEA TO PAY BABA SUWE 25 MILLION NAIRA FOR ASSAULT

That's exactly the case of the veteran Yoruba Actor\Commedian, Baba Suwe, after he won the case of the allegation levelled up against him by Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for drug trafficking. And not only did he win the case, NDLEA has to pay him a whooping sum of 25 Million Naira alongside with a public apology in two different National Dailies.
